Birthday Beach Trip!

Every year around this time, we always do a combined birthday celebration since Papa's and my birthday are only two days apart! One of our friends was kind enough to invite us to her beach house for the weekend and you know I will never say "no" to the beach (^^ゞ

We got everything? Are you guys ready back there??
hahaha okay girl, Let's do this! (Since Pretz is now in heat, she has to wear a diaper and the cone so she can't reach and rip the diaper off...)

It was only two hours drive and here we are!
ヽ(゚∀゚)メ(゚∀゚)メ(゚∀゚)ノ
Not only did we have eight adults to hang out with, we also had six dogs to accompany us as well (*^_^*) This is going to be great!
There was a back porch where the kids can walk around and you can look over a little lake surrounded by trees!

While taking a tour of the back porch, somebody got too excited...
Actually I flipped out for a second when I saw this because clearly Charlie's body is bigger than space between the bars of the fence. If he could only make it half-way thru, only God knows how he will get out...
two minutes of a bit of a body wiggle and he was free man again (^_^;) phew~~~.

Of course there would be kids picture time by me (^^)v
Good job guys!!!

Unfortunately, there were thunderstorms most of the weekend, but we all went to dinner together for our birthday and we had a game night at the house. It was very fun (if you have never played Cards against Humanity, you must)!!!
While we were playing card games, look who was on my lap the whole time...
There is only limited space on my lap and look how awkwardly Pocky is sitting. I don't know how, but he was falling asleep while half-way standing up (^_^;) very cute (*^_^*)

After a crazy storm in the morning, the sun decided to come out so we took advantage of being under the sun before going back home!

Dou...double rainbow...
Ok It was single rainbow but nonetheless it was pretty (・ω<)
We didn't get to hang out at the beach as much as we wanted, but at least it didn't rain while we were on the beach!
Bye bye Wrightsville Beach...we shall be back and hopefully with no thunderstorms next time!

Jasper and I are buckled up! Let's go home family(*^_^*)

Let me introduce my furry friends before the beach trip!

Bosco
He lives our building. He is always sun bathing and peeking down from the window upstairs; he is a great observer! He is very playful and loves to play chase with our dog Pretz (*^_^*) We have to come visit you soon Bosco!

Otis
My special client! I go visit him every month to groom him so he is always looking spiffy! His mom was under-the-weather so he seemed worry-some. You look great Otis...now go snuggle with you favorite mommy!

Sky
She is one sweet Australian Shepherd. She was a rescue dog and now she has a wonderful home and a mom who takes very good care of her. She has very clear blue eyes so her mom named her Sky, as in blue sky.
Her mom wanted her to have a very short hair cut for summer since they go for long walks everyday! You are all set Sky...enjoy your walk!!☆・:゚*ヾ(o´∀`o)ノ*゚:・☆

Ginger
She just got back from her own beach trip. It was the perfect time to get cleaned up! I could tell she had a great time at the beach and she was still tired from all of her fun adventures. She kept falling asleep on the table so I tried to finish as quickly as I could. Now she is fluffy puffy clean Ginger...have a good rest Zzz…(*´~`*)。o○

Work Out & Eat!

This was almost one month ago...I completely forgot that i had so many pictures from Mother's Day.

Mother's Day was a beautiful, sunny Sunday! We all woke up early and started the day wonderfully \(^o^)/ We've been talking about the trails by the North Carolina Museum of Art. It would be nice to walk the trails with kids! So we packed water and some towels, and we're ready to do this!
Along the trails, we walk by very large pieces of art (^^♪
There are many different trails we could take. The hiking route we choose is 2 miles...a piece of cake right!? (^^)
Of course there are water breaks! We hiked half-way already...one more mile to go!
Quarter mile to the end...
Hey guys!!
They were about to finish their hike too. Looks like they also got a good walk. Charlie seemed like he was ready to go home, hahaha.
After hiking, we all were hungry. I heard that the Food Truck Rodeo was here in Downtown Raleigh today! They bring over 40 trucks along Fayetteville Street in downtown from 12pm to 5pm. We can still make it.

It was 3:30pm when we get there but look how many people are still out here...
Trucks that sell actual sandwiches and burgers still have long lines...Papa finally got a burger after waiting about 30 minutes.
I'm wondering if there are any trucks that cater to dogs...that would be awesome! Does anybody know??
Some trucks ran out of food so we couldn't get all the food we wanted, but we definitely enjoyed the atmosphere...and I'm pretty sure the kids enjoyed all the attention from people, hahaha.
The next food truck rodeo is actually this Saturday on June 9th, but unfortunately we will be out of town to attend a wedding. We just have to look forward to the one on August 11th. This one starts from 4pm to 9pm. This time, I will check beforehand to see if there is a food truck for doggies (^^ゞ

Here are my furry friends for the week!
Ginger:
She comes to visit me every 4 weeks. Now she is very good friends with Pocky, Pretz, and Jasper too. They are always happy to see Ginger(*^_^*)

Clarence:
Cousin...I was wondering where you've been! Since it was impossible to de-mat his matted hair, I talked to his mom and we decided to start over this time. He doesn't look like a Shih Tzu right now but the hair will grow back out. Hope I will see you sooner this time cousin Clarence!

Maggie:
She is very quiet and a shy girl but she has very pretty, big eyes that you can't see right now. There you go, we need to show off your beauty Maggie!

Scruff & Max
Both of them are Maltese and Yorkie mix but they look completely different! After grooming they hang out with Pocky, Pretz, and Jasper until their Papa came to pick them up...I could tell they LOVE each other as brothers. They play very well with each other, they make me smile just looking at them. Best Friends Forever!
Ready for summer time\(^o^)/

Play Day!

Here is our crew...
We are excited to have a play day! Do you guys know where we are??
Let me give inspectors Pocky and Pretz a little bit of time to figure it out!
It's been a while for all of them to get together. We are at
Uncle Mo and Auntie Laura's place!
It's been over a year since Lola came to Mo's house. Since then they are very close "sisters"
Well...maybe a little too close...but I'm not going to get into that this time.
Anyway, let's play!
I wonder what they are talking about...maybe they are catching up before play time since we haven't seen them in a while (^^)
Smiiillleee Kaya! Very good shot ❤
It is the first time for Jasper to meet them but I knew that he was going to love them. For some reason, he loves big short-haired dogs...how can I tell? Because he always "butt-attacks" to show them his affection (*´∀`*) like this...
Pretz, the instigator.
But then when Kaya shows an inch of her movement...Pretz is already out of sight(^_^;)
Everybody is having fun! Where is Pocky??
...I knew it...
He is very picky about who he hangs out with, and Jason is clearly one of his favorites. Please don't bother Jason too much Pocky...
We also enjoyed the outside patio area and it was very nice (^^♪
Some day, I would love to have an outside patio like this...right kids??
Geeeez Pretz...Calm down...
Unfortunately I had to leave Papa and the kids behind to catch my meeting...but before I end this story, let me show you my two of my favorite funny pictures of the day...
Lola's time-out pose...
Hahahaha sooo cuuuuttteeeee! I still can't get over how big she became!
For the next picture, I am going to name it "Caterpillar Kaya"
This is how she lays down. How flexible Kaya! Too funny \(^o^)/

All About Pocky!

May 4th was Pocky's birthday! He turned 5 years old.
I still remember the day I met him for the first time...
and I immediately fell in love with him. (*´~`*)
It was first time for me to have my own dog. My life has changed completely for the better and he has brought nothing but a smile to my face (๑′ᴗ'๑)
As much as I hate knowing he is getting older, he does deserve a celebration (^^)v
We always have to share our attention between Pocky, Pretz, and Jasper but today is all about you Pocky!
While Pretz and Jasper were taking a nap at home, we took Pocky to Woof Gang Bakery at North Hills (^^♪
We let him choose whichever toy, treats, and birthday cake he liked.
Let's see what he picked...
He chose the elephant toy that allows him to play tug of war! Also if you press the elephant's face, it squeaks! That was an easy choice for Pocky!
He also chose a birthday cookie instead of a birthday cake. I was a little surprised because the cake was much bigger than the cookie he chose. But his favorite treat is the cookie kind for sure. He looked like he was going to eat it before we paid...(^_^;)
The last present we got for him were natural dry sweet potato treats that we picked so he can have something to eat while we are having outdoor lunch!
The weather was decent and he got a lot of attention from people who were walking by. I think we had a successful day for Pocky and we enjoyed it as well!! I guess it's time to go back for Pretz and Jasper before they wake up! I will open the new toy as soon as we get back Pocky (*^_^*)

Let me introduce my furry friends who got all dolled up before Mother's Day!
Sophie, the tomboy (^^) Her dad wanted her to have very sporty look for the coming summer! Here it is!
She looks completely different but you can definitely tell she is a girl by her soft looking face. I love it!

Gavin, the model. Even though his hair has grown out, he still looks sharp for the camera. He knows what he's doing!

Lily, the princess. Lily looks all pretty and ready to show off her new doo to her siblings this weekend (*´∀`*) Have fun Lily!

Bella and Sandy, two peas in a pod (^^♪
They are "brother and sister" Maltipoo. Even though they are both same kind of breed, Sandy is more Maltese looking and Bella is more Poodle looking IMO. But they are both very cute and talked to me in different ways!!!!

If your pooches need to be dolled up for special time with the family, I have only a few spots open before Mother's Day so be sure to make an appointment soon (*^_^*)
